War is fraud.
Fraud of the rich elite meant to steal from the rest of mankind, to sell weapons to both sides, to cause the death of another to benefit.

These last 10 years or so the Right wing douchebags have been raving "What about WWII!?"

Well, I've said: "What about WWI?"

Without the US involving in WWI what would have happened? Well, the Kaizer would have gotten a little more territory for maybe his lifetime, then it would have been frittered back after he kicked the bucket.

AND - A certain "Corporal" would have probably stayed in the Army to become a Seargeant. Or if he was still discharged would have had a decent economy so he could eke out a living as an artist. And there wouldn't have been a depression and calls for change that would have sparked a latent talent in politics...

Now, why do I say this now?

Because, the "Lustitania" the ship sunk by the Germans -WAS carrying AMMO. It wasn't a passenger ship, it was a MUNITIONS ship that was also used to carry passengers to create an atrocity. The commander of the sub and German intelligence later stated they felt they'd been deliberately leaked the ship's route to 'sucker' them into it, and it worked.

But, the ship WAS carrying ammo. Check the link.

Go BAMA!!!
He's gone and Reagan's legacy is on it's way to the bottom of the toxic trashpit. Time for a change, not just for 4 years, but for 20 years. The rich elite feasted and feasted and feasted, now they'll have to budget between their 20th and 21st yachts, and we'll get back sane hours, decent pay and keeping a job tomorrow as long as we don't f-ck off too bad.

And if they whine we are "Socialist" or "Communist" or whatever we go "Uh, I didn't wreck a company out 1 trillion, give myself $500 million and demand a $100 million retirement along with the government undoing my mess. I just want a decent day's wages for a decent day's work and I work to live, I don't live to work!"

From Patrick Farley, here's a neat YouTube quote from Sam Kinison, from when Dubya's Daddy was handed his butt on a platter by Clinton:

Ah, Sam, Sam, Sam.... We are forever depraved, uh, deprived without ye;-)

But I'm not vengeful. I'm hopeful after 8 long years. Maybe, just maybe, America will be on the right track again. Here's the song I really intended to post:

Ten things about McCain
10 things you should know about John McCain (but probably don't):

1. John McCain voted against establishing a national holiday in honor of
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Now he says his position has "evolved," yet
he's continued to oppose key civil rights laws.1

2. According to Bloomberg News, McCain is more hawkish than Bush on Iraq,
Russia and China. Conservative columnist Pat Buchanan says McCain "will
make Cheney look like Gandhi."2

3. His reputation is built on his opposition to torture, but McCain voted
against a bill to ban waterboarding, and then applauded President Bush for
vetoing that ban.3

4. McCain opposes a woman's right to choose. He said, "I do not support
Roe versus Wade. It should be overturned."4

5. The Children's Defense Fund rated McCain as the worst senator in
Congress for children. He voted against the children's health care bill
last year, then defended Bush's veto of the bill.5

6. He's one of the richest people in a Senate filled with millionaires.
The Associated Press reports he and his wife own at least eight homes! Yet
McCain says the solution to the housing crisis is for people facing
foreclosure to get a "second job" and skip their vacations.6
7. Many of McCain's fellow Republican senators say he's too reckless to be
commander in chief. One Republican senator said: "The thought of his being
president sends a cold chill down my spine. He's erratic. He's hotheaded.
He loses his temper and he worries me."7

8. McCain talks a lot about taking on special interests, but his campaign
manager and top advisers are actually lobbyists. The government watchdog
group Public Citizen says McCain has 59 lobbyists raising money for his
campaign, more than any of the other presidential candidates.8

9. McCain has sought closer ties to the extreme religious right in recent
years. The pastor McCain calls his "spiritual guide," Rod Parsley,
believes America's founding mission is to destroy Islam, which he calls a
"false religion." McCain sought the political support of right-wing
preacher John Hagee, who believes Hurricane Katrina was God's punishment
for gay rights and called the Catholic Church "the Antichrist" and a
"false cult."9

10. He positions himself as pro-environment, but he scored a 0--yes,
zero--from the League of Conservation Voters last year.10

USA exports it's "DemoKKKracy" again....
This morning Bhutto was assassinated. Of course a convenient "Lone Nut" will be blamed as the puppet media here and there talks about "Terrorists trying to destroy democracy". Duh, they won, the right wingers get another election because the one person who had the courage and goodness to stand up to them was murdered.

And who did it? Just look at who benefits; Musharraf, his puppet lackey set to win the election now and Dubya.

I'd been following the news on Bhutto. And I have a guest who's met her a few times, she's really in shock now. Thanks so much, parasite maggot Bush.

Really, now I know what 60's generation people felt like when Robert Kennedy was assassinated. A "Lone Nut" also an alleged "Islamic Terrorist" was blamed. Except for the fact that more bullet holes and bullets were accounted for than the 8 he had in his revolver.

1.00 USD = 0.942155 CAD
It's been months and the US Dollar is still lower than the Canadian dollar and slowly, steadily getting lower.

Just over 94 cents now to 1 Caanuck...

And I remember in the 90's how banks started to crack down and get stores refuse to even take Canadian money. It had fallen to 2:1 or somewhat so instead of just taking money at currency exchange, banks started to play the "Usury" route with businesses, saying they'd charge a US$10 fee for "Changing Money" with Canada.

I didn't like it then, because it was plain impolite and uncivil.

Thanks so much, "Commander-In-Thief" Bush.

More fun, friendly toys from China
Namely, the fun Aqua Dots, which besides making permanent "Light Bright" plastic toys, also become GHB aka the "Slip a mickey to the cheerleader so the whole team can have a touchdown" pill. Unfortunately, enough to knock out the homecoming queen (about 3 dots if I read these right) is enough to put a child in a coma or kill them, thank God the latter hasn't happened.

It's so tempting to make all sorts of VERY UN-PC jokes, but it would be wrong in so many ways.

The first and last being "We got what we paid for."

For decades, the rich elite parasite pigs of industry and unholy usury have fed us garbage about "Free Trade", and how evil the "Tariff" was, the "Trade Barrier" was. And, due also to a largely apathetic, selfish public, they got what they wanted. Slowly at first, then like a flood with NAFTA, any and all pretense of controlling most trade between countries collapsed.

No way could a cobbler in the US compete with a barefoot child chained to a post and beaten to hastily sew shoes. No way any US industry could, or so we were told. Actually, with the death camp wages came frequent bouts of strikes that the local Policia came in with machine guns and shot up the factory, then they had to clean up the mess and hire more people. Or there was piracy, or most importantly constant corruption.

The long and short is that US industry can actually still compete with most industries overseas and still make a profit but pay workers a decent wage when you factor in transport, quality, corruption, piracy and other things.

So, what did they do?

They got tax subsidies for these "Outsourcing" ventures. That's right, the society they take jobs and money from then pays them to do this.

They lower worker standards, wage standards, and health standards. Not directly, of course. They just keep bidding lower and lower and lower, but don't look twice at the product as long as it holds together long enough to be bought.

Over the last few decades, we've had a good portion of our standard of living eroded by a flood of jobs going overseas. In exchange were cheaper products, with what that did to the economy becoming as expensive. And now, the stuff is not even safe, for the rich elite pigs can simply not ever have enough.

It's funny how the hamstrung Consumer Product Safety commission raved last week about how if they got more money, it would only make them more inefficient. More proof that our government is bought out by rich elite parasite pigs and is no longer our government.

But let's not insult the Chinese. Frankly, what they make for as low as they are paid is very good. The problem is that the rich pigs make money in between the "Cheap Junk" price and the "Toxic Waste" price, so they push for the latter.

But we got what we paid for. "Cheap" at the cost of fewer jobs, lower wages, laughable border security and toxic waste molded into the shape of toys.

It'd be nice to slap outright trade barriers on everything overnight. Make toy stores just dump everything with "China" on them in the landfill AND pay fines for "Toxic Waste" disposal.

I'd get some spare lumber and with my equipment make a lot of traditional toys and sell them all. And I wouldn't use any lead paint, and I'd make sure the toys I made were designed properly. What I'd make would cost more, but would last at least a lifetime and people could bring it back to me to repair it.

Who now speaks of the Armenians?
Good ol' Non-Elect President Dubya is now going hog wild to quash a resolution that officially labels the "Armenian Genocide" for what it is, a Genocide. The reason for this move is that it could possibly damage diplomatic relations with Turkey... And that's interesting since I thought the US didn't like Turkey, and vice versa.

Right wingers usually rave about "Godwin's Law" over mentioning Nazis and Hitler. This is, of course, because the Bush family has had strong ties to Hitler and the Nazis. They got in trouble under the "Trading with the Enemy" act and that was even after they escaped treason charges for the "Business Plot" where they consulted a general to attempt armed overthrow of the government to create a Nazi inspired government.

However, this isn't just history, it is entirely valid to bring up Hitler now. For Hitler drove his own "Final Solution" by bringing up history's ignorance of Turkey's genocide of the Armenians;

"I have issued the command — and I'll have anybody who utters but one word of criticism executed by a firing squad — that our war aim does not consist in reaching certain lines, but in the physical destruction of the enemy. Accordingly, I have placed my death-head formations in readiness — for the present only in the East — with orders to them to send to death mercilessly and without compassion, men, women, and children of Polish derivation and language. Only thus shall we gain the living space (Lebensraum) which we need. Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?" - Adolph Hitler

And we have it all in a nutshell; The Right Wing Republican NeoCon connection to Hitler and the Nazis.

1. The assumption that anyone who disagrees with them is a traitor and deserves death.
2. The seeking of a war, not of victories or cessation of aggression, but of annihilation of a whole people.
3. The belief in absolute rightness, assuming history's forgiveness should their genocidal motives be successful.

Mellencamp sings, mayor whines
The Mayor of Jena, Alabama is whining and crying over John Mellencamp's song; "Jena, put your nooses down" which protested the treatment of six black teenagers who faced the maximum wrath of the law when they lashed out at constant, violent racist death threats. But that's what happens when a right-winger actually faces public condemnation; they turn into whining babies.

So, here's Mellencamp's video. IMHO, in the league with Phil Ochs's "Too many Martyrs"

Try catching the people hanging nooses and other "just good ol boy fun" like Burning Crosses and other direct KKK refs, then trying them "As adults" for "Hate Crimes" and maybe the nation will believe you. As it is, the teens endured years of racial slurs then lashed out when KKK level death threats were made. A jury would likely forgive a Jew who hauled off and hit a Neo-Nazi who hassled him waving a lampshade he'd scrawled a number on and a bar of soap with a name on it and a constant stream of vulgar slurs at his face. Why not a colored person menaced by imagery of the KKK?
